Simon’s Town is a beautiful naval village rich in history, stunning scenery and the home to our world famous penguins. It is also the perfect destination for water based adventure seekers, with lots on offer from whale watching, shark cage diving, to stand up paddle boarding with penguins and a whole host of other activities. Simon’s Town Boardwalk Centre situation in prime position on the water’s edge, next to False Bay Yacht Club and marina is a hub of great food, shops and activities. A day trip to Simon’s Town should be on everyone’s bucket list.

Learn to Stand Up Paddle in the calm waters of Simon’s Town Quays, ideal for beginners to find their feet and practice their technique in the protected basin.The bay is a visual delight with an ever changing vista of seals at play, yachts gliding by and the Navy practicing their drills. On a good day the kelp forests come alive with colorful sea creatures.The coastline is filled with interesting beaches and perfect for both beginner and experienced paddlers to explore and enjoy.

Cape Town has no shortage of stunning beaches and on our Penguin Tour you will get to experience a few of them. The jewel in the crown must be Boulders beach with it’s soft white sand, large granite boulders, dramatic mountain backdrop and turquoise ocean, home to the African Penguin. It is also the only place in the world that you can get a close up glimpse into their lives. Please do remember that Boulders Beach is a sanctuary for the African Penguin. Sadly the African Penguin has been classified as an endangered species and no close interaction with the penguins is allowed.
